"Media wall installers", "media wall builders" and "media wall fitters" all describe the same service. What varies between companies is who carries the responsibility when three trades have to hand off to each other in the right order. Here that is one person, throughout.
Structural framework, first-fix electrics, boarding and plastering, second-fix, screen mounting and cable routing are sequenced against the design agreed with you upfront. Certified trade partners come in where the work genuinely needs a specialist — the electrics, principally — but you are never the one making those phone calls or explaining the job twice.
Most builds run somewhere between two and five days on site, but that is a range rather than a promise. What moves it is the amount of electrical work, whether plastering needs drying time before the finish goes on, and how much making good the room needs. You will get a realistic day count with your quote, and if something changes on site you will hear about it that day.

Almost never move out, and rarely fully empty. Furniture gets pulled clear of the working wall and sheeted, and the work stays contained. On larger builds there may be a day where the room is genuinely unusable — we will flag that in advance rather than on the morning.
Either works, they just need different approaches. On a stud wall the load has to land on the studs, so we locate them and set the frame out accordingly — sometimes adding noggins for the fixing points. Solid brick or block is straightforward but usually wants a battened frame to give a flat face. The one to watch is dot-and-dab plasterboard, where fixings must pass through into the blockwork behind. We check which you have during the survey.
Three options. Build the wall around it and use the alcoves. Box it out flush so the finished face is one unbroken plane. Or remove it — which is structural work needing building control approval and, if you share the stack, agreement with the neighbour. Most people take one of the first two, and we will be straight with you about which suits the room.
